DESCRIPTION
The Secondary Air Filter (part number AF1654) is a component in a truck's engine air intake system designed to remove particles and contaminants from the air before it enters the engine. This filter is located downstream of the primary air filter and is specifically designed to capture smaller particles that may have passed through the primary filter. The secondary air filter plays a critical role in maintaining engine performance and longevity by preventing harmful particles from entering the combustion chamber. It should be regularly inspected and replaced as recommended by the manufacturer to ensure optimal filtration efficiency.
