DESCRIPTION
A Full-Flow Spin-On Lube Filter, identified by part number LF651, is an essential component of a truck's lubrication system. Its purpose is to filter out contaminants from the engine oil before it circulates through the engine. The filter fits into a canister and screws onto the engine block or oil cooler adapter. As oil flows through the filter, it passes through a porous media that traps dirt particles and other contaminants. The clean oil then flows back into the engine to provide proper lubrication for its moving parts. A Full-Flow Spin-On Lube Filter must be replaced periodically to ensure optimal performance of the vehicle's engine and prevent damage from contaminated oil.
