DESCRIPTION
The Starting Motor, also known as a Starter Motor, is an electric motor that is responsible for turning the engine over to start the vehicle. It is typically located near the bottom of the engine and is connected to the flywheel or flexplate. When the ignition key is turned, the starter motor receives an electrical signal from the battery and uses that energy to turn the engine over. The starter motor has a gear that engages with teeth on the flywheel or flexplate, which rotates the engine until it starts running on its own. The 3604321RX is a specific part number for a starting motor used in certain truck models.
