DESCRIPTION
The Urea Filter, also known as UF104, is a component found in diesel trucks equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems. The filter is responsible for removing impurities and contaminants from the urea solution used in the SCR process. This ensures that only pure urea is injected into the exhaust system to react with harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) and reduce them to harmless nitrogen and water vapor. A clogged or damaged Urea Filter can cause reduced performance of the SCR system, leading to increased emissions and potential damage to other components. Therefore, it is important to regularly inspect and replace the Urea Filter according to manufacturer recommendations.
