Air Cleaner (Part Number: 3638679)
The air cleaner is a component of a truck's engine that filters the air that enters the engine. It is designed to remove dirt, dust, and other debris from the air before it reaches the engine, which helps prevent damage to internal components from abrasion or corrosion. The air cleaner is typically located on top of the engine and consists of a housing, filter element(s), and any necessary mounting hardware. Over time, the filter element(s) will become clogged with debris and will need to be replaced in order to ensure proper airflow to the engine.

* Variable geometry turbocharger and electronic actuator repairs are not eligible to be claimed as over-the-counter under New or ReCon parts warranty for parts installed after October 1, 2018.
* Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) catalyst, and Electronic Control Module (ECM) repairs are not eligible to be claimed as over-the-counter under New or ReCon parts warranty for parts installed after January 1, 2020.
