DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head, with part number 5581146RX, is an essential component of an engine in a truck. It sits on top of the engine block and contains passages for air and fuel intake as well as exhaust output. The cylinder head houses the valves, valve springs, and rocker arms that control the flow of air and fuel into the combustion chamber and expel exhaust gases after combustion. It also provides a mounting surface for various engine components such as the camshaft, spark plugs, and fuel injectors. The cylinder head plays a critical role in ensuring proper compression ratios for efficient combustion while maintaining a seal over each cylinder to prevent leaks of air or coolant.
