Part number 5289843 refers to a specific crankshaft model that is designed to fit certain trucks. The crankshaft is typically made of high-strength steel and features several journals where connecting rods are attached. As the pistons move up and down, they transfer energy to the connecting rods which rotate around the journals on the crankshaft, causing it to turn.
