DESCRIPTION
A Particulate Filter Kit, also known as a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Kit, is an emissions control device installed in diesel trucks to reduce the amount of harmful particulates released into the environment. The kit includes a filter that captures soot and other particles generated by the engine during combustion. Over time, these particles build up in the filter and must be removed through a process called regeneration. Regeneration can occur passively or actively through the use of special additives or heating elements. The Particulate Filter Kit is an important component for meeting emissions regulations and improving air quality.
