DESCRIPTION
The Starter Motor (Part Number: 4948534) is an electrical component that initiates the engine's combustion process. It is typically located near the bottom of the engine and is activated by turning the ignition key. The starter motor uses electrical power from the battery to turn a small gear that meshes with a larger gear attached to the engine's flywheel. This action turns the engine over, allowing it to draw in fuel and air for combustion. Once the engine is running, the starter motor disengages from the flywheel and stops spinning. A faulty starter motor can prevent an engine from starting or cause it to stall while driving.
