Starter Motor
The Starter Motor (part number 5658197) is an electric motor that is responsible for starting the engine of a truck. It works by drawing electrical current from the battery to turn the engine's flywheel, which in turn starts the combustion process. The starter motor is typically located near the bottom of the engine and is connected to the flywheel via a small gear called a pinion. When you turn on your truck's ignition, an electrical signal is sent to activate a solenoid, which then engages the pinion with the flywheel and spins it up to start your engine.
