DESCRIPTION
The Bypass Valve (part number 3934410) is a component found in some diesel engines. Its purpose is to regulate the flow of coolant through the engine's cooling system. When the valve is closed, coolant flows through the radiator and engine block, allowing for efficient heat transfer. However, when the engine reaches a certain temperature, the valve opens to allow some of the coolant to bypass the radiator and circulate directly back into the engine block. This helps regulate engine temperature and prevent overheating. The bypass valve can be manually or electronically controlled depending on the specific application.
