DESCRIPTION
Particulate Filter Module (Part Number: 5295609) is a crucial component in the exhaust system of Cummins® commercial trucks. It is designed to reduce harmful emissions by capturing and trapping particulate matter (PM) or soot produced during the combustion process. The module consists of a filter housing and a ceramic filter element, which effectively captures and stores the PM. Over time, the module undergoes a process called regeneration, where the accumulated soot is burned off at high temperatures, ensuring optimal filter performance.
