DESCRIPTION
A pressure sensor, also known as a pressure transducer, is an electronic device that measures the amount of pressure exerted on it and converts it into an electrical signal. The 2872254 pressure sensor is a specific part number used in trucks to monitor the air pressure in the brake system. This information is sent to the truck's computer which then adjusts the braking force accordingly. A malfunctioning pressure sensor can cause issues with braking performance and should be replaced promptly for safety reasons.
