DESCRIPTION
The Starter Solenoid, also known as a starter relay, is an electrical component found in most vehicles with internal combustion engines. The solenoid is responsible for engaging the starter motor and initiating the engine's ignition process. When the ignition key is turned, an electrical signal is sent to the solenoid which then engages a plunger that completes a circuit between the battery and starter motor. This action causes the motor to turn over and start the engine. The Starter Solenoid plays a crucial role in starting a vehicle and ensuring reliable engine performance.
