DESCRIPTION
The Speed Sensor Kit, also known as Part Number 5550062, is an essential component of a truck's anti-lock braking system. The kit consists of a sensor and wiring harness that detects the rotational speed of the wheels and sends this information to the truck's computer. This data is used to calculate the appropriate amount of brake pressure needed for each wheel in order to prevent skidding or loss of control. Without a functioning speed sensor, the anti-lock braking system would not be able to operate effectively, increasing the risk of accidents or damage to the vehicle.
