DESCRIPTION
The Speedometer Driven Gear (part number ME605814) is an essential component of a truck's speedometer system. It is responsible for translating the rotational motion of the transmission output shaft into a signal that is sent to the speedometer gauge, which displays the vehicle's speed to the driver. The driven gear is typically made of durable plastic or metal and has teeth that mesh with the teeth of the speedometer drive gear, located on the transmission output shaft.
