DESCRIPTION
An air dryer, also known as a desiccant dryer, is a critical component of a truck's compressed air system. The CR620525 model is designed to remove moisture and contaminants from the air before it enters the brake system, preventing corrosion and extending the life of other components. As compressed air flows through the dryer, it passes over a desiccant material that absorbs moisture and other impurities. Once saturated, the desiccant is automatically regenerated by heated air from the engine exhaust. The CR620525 model features an integrated heater that speeds up regeneration time and ensures consistent performance in cold weather conditions. Proper maintenance of an air dryer is essential for safe operation of a truck's braking system.
