DESCRIPTION
A Lube Filter (LF16141) is a component of a truck's engine lubrication system. Its primary function is to filter out contaminants that may accumulate in the oil as it circulates through the engine. This helps to ensure that the oil remains clean and free of debris, which can improve engine performance and prolong its lifespan. The LF16141 features a high-efficiency filter media that is capable of capturing particles as small as 20 microns, preventing them from entering the engine and causing damage. It is typically located near the oil pump or on the side of the engine block, and requires regular replacement in order to maintain optimal performance.
