DESCRIPTION
An air filter, also known as AF26169, is a component in a truck's engine that prevents harmful contaminants from entering the combustion chamber. It is typically made of pleated paper or foam and is located in the air intake system. As air flows through the filter, dirt, dust, and debris are trapped before they can enter the engine. A clogged or dirty air filter can reduce fuel efficiency and engine performance by restricting airflow. Regularly replacing the air filter helps to ensure optimal engine performance and prolongs engine life.
