DESCRIPTION
A Spin-On Lube Filter is a component of a truck's lubrication system, with part number LF3642. This filter is designed to remove contaminants and impurities from the engine oil, ensuring that the engine is properly lubricated and protected against wear and tear. The filter features a spin-on design, which allows for easy installation and replacement. As oil flows through the filter, it passes through a series of pleated filtration media that trap particles as small as 10 microns in size. Once trapped, these contaminants are held within the filter until it can be replaced during routine maintenance.
