DESCRIPTION
A Primary Air Filter, also known as an AF899MA, is a component in a truck's air intake system that is responsible for removing contaminants from the incoming air before it reaches the engine. This filter is typically made of pleated paper or other porous material and is designed to capture dirt, dust, and other debris that can cause damage to engine components if left unchecked. As air enters the filter, it passes through the pleats where particles become trapped in the fibers. Over time, this buildup can restrict airflow and reduce engine performance, so it's important to replace or clean the primary air filter on a regular basis to ensure proper operation of your truck's engine.
