DESCRIPTION
A thermostat is a component in a truck's engine cooling system that regulates the flow of coolant through the engine. The part number for this specific thermostat is 3910312. When the engine is cold, the thermostat blocks off the flow of coolant to allow it to warm up faster. Once the engine reaches its operating temperature, the thermostat opens up and allows coolant to circulate through the radiator and back into the engine.
