DESCRIPTION
The Actuator Tube (Part Number: 4004087) is a component of the turbocharger system in a truck. It is responsible for controlling the wastegate, which regulates the amount of exhaust gas that enters the turbine and ultimately controls the boost pressure. The actuator tube works by using a diaphragm to open or close a valve that allows exhaust gas to bypass the turbine. This allows for precise control of boost pressure, which can improve engine performance and fuel efficiency. In order to ensure proper function, it is important to regularly inspect and replace any worn or damaged components in the turbocharger system, including the actuator tube.
