DESCRIPTION
The Wastegate Actuator Kit (part number 4030256) is a component of a turbocharged engine that regulates the amount of boost pressure produced by the turbocharger. The kit includes an actuator, which is a small device that opens and closes the wastegate valve to control the flow of exhaust gas into the turbine housing. When the engine reaches a certain level of boost pressure, the actuator opens the wastegate valve to divert some of the exhaust gas away from the turbine wheel, which reduces boost pressure and prevents damage to engine components. The Wastegate Actuator Kit is an essential part of any turbocharged system and ensures optimal performance and longevity.
