DESCRIPTION
A reducing adapter, also known as a fitting or connector, is a component used to connect two pieces of piping with different diameters. The reducing adapter features two ends: one with a larger diameter and the other with a smaller diameter. This allows for the transition of fluid or gas flow from one pipe to another while minimizing any potential loss in pressure or flow rate. The 3100873 reducing adapter is commonly used in truck applications to connect various components such as fuel lines, coolant hoses, and air intake systems.
