DESCRIPTION
The Aftercooler Housing, also known as Intercooler Housing, is a component of a turbocharged engine found in trucks. Its primary function is to cool the compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine's intake manifold. The housing is typically made of aluminum or other lightweight materials and is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures. It contains a series of fins or tubes that allow the hot compressed air to dissipate its heat into the surrounding atmosphere, resulting in denser and cooler air entering the engine. The Aftercooler Housing helps improve fuel efficiency, increase horsepower, and reduce emissions by ensuring that only cold air enters the combustion chamber.
