DESCRIPTION
An Aftercooler, also known as an intercooler, is a heat exchanger used to cool the compressed air from a turbocharger or supercharger before it enters the engine's intake manifold. This reduces the temperature and increases the density of the air, resulting in improved combustion efficiency and increased power output. The Aftercooler typically consists of a series of fins or tubes through which the compressed air flows, surrounded by a cooling medium such as water or air. The 5566840 model is a specific type of Aftercooler designed for use in trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
