DESCRIPTION
The Aftercooler Cover Gasket, also known as the intercooler cover gasket is a component that seals the aftercooler cover to prevent air leaks in the engine. It is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure, ensuring optimal performance of the engine. The gasket is made of durable materials such as rubber or silicone and has a specific shape that fits perfectly into the aftercooler cover. Over time, this gasket may wear out or become damaged due to heat or other factors, leading to air leaks which can negatively impact engine performance. Replacement of this gasket is necessary for proper maintenance of the vehicle's engine.
