DESCRIPTION
The Aftercooler Housing, also known as the Intercooler Housing, is a component of a truck's engine air intake system. It is located between the turbocharger and the engine intake manifold and houses the aftercooler or intercooler core. The aftercooler housing is responsible for directing and cooling compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine. The housing itself is typically made of aluminum or steel and is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure levels. Proper maintenance of this part ensures efficient cooling of compressed air, reducing engine heat buildup and increasing overall performance.
