DESCRIPTION
Aftertreatment Device 5506139 is a component of the exhaust system in a commercial truck that is designed to reduce harmful emissions. It is manufactured by Cummins® and is used in diesel engines to meet the emission standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The aftertreatment device works by converting harmful pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), and particulate matter (PM) into less harmful substances before they are released into the atmosphere.
