DESCRIPTION
The aftertreatment system is an emission control system that is designed to reduce harmful pollutants from the exhaust gases of a diesel engine. It includes a diesel particulate filter (DPF), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) injection system. The aftertreatment system is an essential component of modern diesel engines to meet the strict emission regulations.
