DESCRIPTION
The Air Inlet Tube, also known as the air intake duct, is a component of a truck's air intake system. It is typically made of plastic or rubber and connects the air filter housing to the engine's throttle body. The purpose of this tube is to allow fresh, clean air to enter the engine for combustion, while filtering out any contaminants or debris. A damaged or clogged Air Inlet Tube can lead to reduced engine performance and fuel efficiency. Replacement of this part may be necessary if it becomes cracked, broken or otherwise damaged.
