DESCRIPTION
An air cylinder, also known as a pneumatic cylinder, is a component found in trucks and other vehicles that converts compressed air into mechanical force. The 3017333 air cylinder is a specific model commonly used in heavy-duty truck braking systems. When the driver applies the brake pedal, compressed air is sent to the air cylinder which then uses that energy to move a piston inside it. This movement of the piston creates force that is transmitted through connecting rods to activate the vehicle's brakes. Air cylinders are important components for ensuring proper braking function and safety on large trucks and other vehicles.
