DESCRIPTION
An air cylinder, also known as a pneumatic cylinder, is a component of a truck's braking system that converts compressed air into mechanical force. The 3053547 air cylinder is used in heavy-duty trucks and trailers to actuate the foundation brakes. When the driver presses the brake pedal, compressed air flows into the cylinder, causing a piston to move and apply force to the brake shoes or pads. This results in friction against the wheels, slowing down or stopping the vehicle. The 3053547 air cylinder is a critical component for safe operation of heavy-duty trucks and trailers on the road.
