DESCRIPTION
The Air Compressor Governor (Part Number: 3072940) is a component of the air brake system in a truck. Its primary function is to regulate the air pressure produced by the compressor and maintain a consistent level of pressure within the system. This ensures that the brakes are responsive and reliable, as well as preventing over-pressurization which can cause damage to other components. The governor works by monitoring the air pressure in the system and automatically adjusting the compressor's output accordingly.
