DESCRIPTION
The Air Intake Manifold, also known as the intake manifold, is a critical component of a truck's engine. It is responsible for distributing air evenly to each cylinder for proper combustion. This part is typically made of aluminum or plastic and has several ports that connect to the engine's air intake system. The Air Intake Manifold can also include an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve that helps reduce emissions by recirculating exhaust gases back into the engine. A faulty or damaged Air Intake Manifold can lead to poor engine performance, decreased fuel efficiency, and increased emissions.
