DESCRIPTION
An Air Transfer Tube, also known as an Air Intake Duct, is a part of the truck's air intake system responsible for delivering fresh air from outside the vehicle to the engine's intake manifold. The Air Transfer Tube is typically made of plastic or rubber and is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure fluctuations. It connects the air filter housing to the throttle body, allowing clean and filtered air to enter the engine for combustion. A damaged or clogged Air Transfer Tube can cause poor engine performance or even engine damage due to inadequate airflow. Regular inspection and replacement of this component is important in maintaining optimal engine performance.
