DESCRIPTION
The Air Inlet Tube, also known as the air intake tube, is a component of a truck's engine system that connects the air filter housing to the throttle body. Its purpose is to deliver clean and filtered air to the engine for combustion. The Air Inlet Tube is typically made of molded plastic or rubber and may contain bends or curves to fit within the available space in the engine compartment. Over time, it may become clogged with debris or crack due to age or exposure to extreme temperatures. If this occurs, it can negatively impact engine performance and fuel efficiency.
