Air Cleaner: Part number 4079014 is a component of a truck's air intake system. Its primary function is to filter the air that enters the engine, removing any dirt, dust, and other particles that could cause damage or reduce performance. The air cleaner typically consists of a housing and an element made of paper or foam. As air flows through the element, contaminants are trapped and clean air passes through to the engine. Over time, the element becomes clogged and needs to be replaced to maintain optimal performance.
