DESCRIPTION
The Air Intake Manifold, also known as the intake plenum, is a component in an internal combustion engine that directs air into the engine's cylinders. It is responsible for distributing the air evenly to each cylinder and ensuring a proper air-to-fuel ratio for combustion. The Air Intake Manifold sits on top of the engine and is connected to the throttle body and other components such as sensors and valves. It usually consists of a series of tubes or passages that are designed to optimize airflow and reduce turbulence. The Air Intake Manifold can be made from various materials such as aluminum, plastic, or composite materials depending on the application. Proper maintenance of this component is essential for optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency.
