DESCRIPTION
The Air Fuel Mixer, also known as a carburetor, is a component in an internal combustion engine that blends air and fuel together for combustion. It consists of several parts including the throttle valve, idle circuit, and main jet. The air fuel mixture is regulated by the position of the throttle valve which controls the amount of airflow entering the engine. As air flows through the carburetor, it mixes with fuel from the main jet before being delivered to the intake manifold for distribution to each cylinder. The idle circuit provides additional fuel when the engine is idling or running at low speeds. Proper tuning of this component is essential for optimal performance and fuel efficiency in vehicles that use them.
