DESCRIPTION
The Air Crossover Tube, also known as part number 4999175, is a component of a truck's engine system that connects the air intake systems of both sides of the engine. This tube is typically made of durable materials such as aluminum or stainless steel and can be found on diesel engines in heavy-duty trucks. Its purpose is to balance the airflow between the two sides of the engine, ensuring proper combustion and optimal performance. Without this crucial part, one side of the engine could receive too much or too little air resulting in uneven power output and increased wear on engine components.
