DESCRIPTION
The Air Cleaner is a truck component that filters the air that enters the engine to prevent contaminants from damaging its internal components. It consists of a cylindrical or rectangular housing made of metal or plastic, which contains an air filter element. The filter element is usually made of paper, foam, or mesh and traps dirt, dust, pollen, and other particles as the air flows through it. The Air Cleaner is located between the engine's throttle body and the air intake duct to ensure that only clean air enters the combustion chamber. Over time, the filter element becomes clogged with debris and needs to be replaced to maintain optimal engine performance.
