DESCRIPTION
The Air Intake Manifold, also known as the intake manifold, is a component of the truck's engine that delivers air to the cylinders. It is responsible for distributing air evenly to each cylinder through individual runners. The Air Intake Manifold is typically made of aluminum or plastic and can be either a single or dual plane design. A single plane design has all four runners connected to one plenum, while a dual plane design has two separate plenums, each feeding two runners. The Air Intake Manifold is crucial in ensuring efficient combustion and engine performance by delivering the correct amount of air to each cylinder at the right time.
