DESCRIPTION
An Air Flow Metering Orifice, also known as an AFMO, is a vital component in the fuel injection system of a truck. The AFMO regulates the amount of air that enters the engine by measuring its velocity and density. It works by creating a restriction in the air intake system, which causes a pressure drop across the orifice. This pressure drop is used to calculate the amount of air flowing through it.
