DESCRIPTION
The Air Compressor Inlet Connection, also known by its part number 4938299, is a vital component of a truck's air brake system. It serves as the connection point between the air intake filter and the air compressor itself. This allows clean, filtered air to be drawn into the compressor to be pressurized and sent through the system to actuate the brakes. The inlet connection is typically made from durable materials such as brass or steel to withstand high pressure and frequent use. Without a properly functioning inlet connection, the air compressor may struggle to operate efficiently or fail altogether, compromising braking performance and safety on the road.
