DESCRIPTION
The Air Fuel Control Barrel, also known as the AFC barrel, is a component found in diesel fuel injection systems. It is responsible for regulating the amount of air and fuel that enters the engine cylinders. The AFC barrel works by controlling the position of a needle valve that controls fuel flow into the engine. This component plays a critical role in ensuring that the engine runs smoothly and efficiently. If it becomes damaged or worn, it can lead to issues such as decreased performance, increased emissions, and poor fuel economy. Proper maintenance and replacement of the AFC barrel when necessary is essential for optimal engine function.
