DESCRIPTION
The Air Intake Manifold, also known as the intake manifold, is a crucial component of a truck's engine. Its main function is to distribute air from the air filter to each individual cylinder in the engine. The Air Intake Manifold is typically made of aluminum or plastic and connects directly to the throttle body. It has several ports for attaching hoses and sensors that aid in measuring air flow and pressure. The shape and design of the manifold can affect engine performance, particularly in terms of torque and horsepower. A damaged or clogged Air Intake Manifold can cause decreased engine power, increased fuel consumption, and other issues. Regular maintenance of this part is essential for optimal truck performance.
