DESCRIPTION
The Air Tube, also known as the intake tube or air intake hose, is a component of a truck's engine air intake system. It is responsible for delivering clean and filtered air to the engine's combustion chamber. The Air Tube is typically made of rubber or plastic and connects the air filter box to the throttle body or carburetor. It may also have additional sensors attached to it such as the mass airflow sensor or oxygen sensor. Over time, the Air Tube can become cracked, torn or clogged with debris which can lead to poor engine performance and decreased fuel efficiency. Regular maintenance and inspection of this component is recommended to ensure optimal engine function.
