The Alternator Brace is a component of the engine assembly that provides support to the alternator and helps to keep it in place. It is designed to prevent the alternator from vibrating excessively and causing damage to the engine or other components. The Cummins® Alternator Brace part number 3255548 is specifically designed for use in Cummins® engines.
